C4C: The Workshop
Mondays, 1-2 p.m.
Come down to the Center for Creativity Workshop and explore, create, and connect with others, including a University Counseling Center counselor and maker.
Grab your latest project (or start one for the first time!) and join us to cultivate your creative outlet. We’ll work on and share our projects, while discussing broader themes of self-expression, self-care, and wellness.
Creative Healing: A Social Justice Art Collaboration
Day & time TBD for 2023
A collaboration between the Center for Creativity and University Counseling Center, Creative Healing invites Pitt makers to explore, create, and connect around topics of social justice and healing through creative expression and dialogue.
Sessions meet Wednesdays from 3:30-5 p.m. in C4C: The Workshop in the University Store on Fifth. (No meeting on Nov. 2.) Drop in for one or more as your schedule allows. Works created have the opportunity to be featured throughout campus.
Butterflies of Hope
Help spread joy and hope to the transgender community by creating a Butterfly of Hope.
Make and decorate a clay butterfly using a mold and paint, and write a message of hope and encouragement to accompany it. Your butterfly and message will then be released to the Union Project to be distributed to others.
This is a drop-in event: you can come by anytime during the times listed to make a butterfly!
Butterflies of Hope is a collaboration between the Union Project, UPMC Western Behavioral Health, TransPride Pittsburgh Conference, and the University of Pittsburgh Center for Creativity.
